My Experience With IBS

I consulted with Annalien Turner in October 2019, in search of assistance in losing a few kilograms which I had trouble getting rid of.

After a thorough assessment of my eating habits, gastro-intestinal symptoms, etc. she shared with me that there was a high likeliness of me having Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). We embarked on a 3 week low “FODMAP” diet, which cut out all foods that could possibly trigger IBS symptoms.

The results were amazing! It took me a few days to adjust to the new diet, but once I got used to it I felt great! I woke up in the mornings feeling energised and the uncomfortable feeling of bloatedness disappeared completely. I am in the process of identifying the exact foods which I should avoid and look forward to living a life without any IBS symptoms!
