I started getting aches and pains in the joints of my fingers two years ago, as well as a constant burning sensation in my chest – and I was overweight. I knew the problem was my diet. I was definitely ingested too much sugar and I suspected coffee too. The change that was needed was my diet, because I was not interested in drinking a hand full of pills for each ache and pain.
I made an appointment with Annalien and together we worked out a detox program for 8 weeks. It was easy to follow and practical, although it was very difficult and required a lot of self-discipline. It takes a lot of time to get rid of bad habits. I first felt worse the first week (detoxification) but later started to feel better. The pain, was my biggest concern, disappeared over time and as a bonus I lost weight in the process. I eat healthy with minor adjustments, so that my family can enjoy the same meals. I understand and now know better how to combine the different food groups to make sure I ingest daily all the required vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbs, fats, etc.
And if I ‘break the rules’, as in Lock Down or winter and start getting the same symptoms again, it’s easy to correct my diet immediately with the knowledge and experience gained from my sessions with Annalien.
