For the past few years, I’ve struggled with moderate symptoms of constipation, bloating, indigestion and just a general feeling of discomfort. At the same time, I was struggling with Gilbert syndrome (mild liver disorder), inflammation and constant allergies. Because it was not unbearable, I did not think much about it and definitely did not consider the gut to be the main corporate.

But, when the inflammation started to cause hair loss and my skin to break out, I knew a serious intervention was necessary.

After consulting Annalien, she suggested that I give the Low FODMAP diet a go. For 30 days I was committed to the diet and the results were remarkable. The gut related symptoms are completely gone. Even though the goal was not weight loss, I lost 2kg and lost 7.5cm on my waistline – bloating issue resolved.

Generally, the inflammation started to calm, reducing itching, redness, and the breakouts. Hair regrowth is noticeable, and my allergies are more bearable.
